Lady said she was a paid solicitor from the "Children's Dream Network": Told her that I cannot give even the minimum contribution of $15 at this time. She said her company would call back at another time. Charity is all well & good, though this one makes me suspicious: Two other charities called me in the past week utilizing nearly the same scripts. The only differences were whom the other charities claimed to benefit (police & veterans). NOT a cent to any of them! Furthermore their script is highly similar to a company I BOUGHT (past tense) products from. Hmm?
Said they're calling us back. So I shut her up and said we NEVER called you and to NOT call us again. Children's Dream Network? ?.yeah right. Most likely another charity scam...
Childrens dream was the name on caller ID. They called at 9:00PM. I tracked the org's web page and found no phone# or address (no surprise). It turns out they're based in Malta.
Children's dream network -they have called before- "Jenny" replied that she is a paid solicitor - wouldn't take no for an answer -being on do not call list is worthless!!!!
