Actually if they are bothering you and you do not owe the money, or if you owe the money and they are continuing to harass you after you tell them to leave you alone, you should retain a lawyer knowledgable about debt collection practices. Recent changes in the law are very favorable to people who owe money. And, yes I am a lawyer.
Yeah it's a bill collector of some kind, and they try to own the phone call. Hahahaha... it's MY PHONE!! I'm "never home" when they call, and when i call it back from another number they will not tell me who they are. But "try" to get me to tell them who I am, and i try to get them to tell me who they are.. on and on... it's a fun game!! Everyone should call this number thousands of times!!!
It is a bill collector, Professional Choice Recovery. They currently are handling an outstanding tuition amount I owe the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Just like every other bill collector out there they just don't understand that I can't make money just POOF! appear. And they're also not keen on the idea that they'll get some money when I get some money.
My husband was killed on 7/19 and I guess he must have had a bill outstanding with them. Since they can not get a hold of him, they are trying to contact me ALL THE TIME! It comes through as a private number and when I called back the number the guy left, they told me that now I was responsible to pay for it. It hasn't even been 3 weeks since my husband passed and these hounds are all over me for something that I don't even own. Don't worry, I have contacted a LAWYER!!!!!
They called for my Ex wife, looking for her new number, same old story, it's a personal matter. oh well, Darla, then I'll have her call you right away I say... oh look Heroes is on.......
