One of a dozen callers from Nebraska bill collectors of student loans. They ask for someone we do not know.
No matter what we tell them the calls continue daily for the last 2 months.

Take some steps! First, get their legal address and company name, then send them a cease and desist via certified mail. You can get the forms free, just google them. :) This will allow you to see when its delivered and they have X amount of day's to acknowledge it . Once done, then if they continue calling, you can sue them ..
If they refuse to give you the information (you can google the name also) then something isn't right. Do report the calls to the FTC and also keep a list of the calls, If they leave voice messages, keep those also, and record any conversations you have with them also. Tell them your recording the conversation up front, some states require this, some don't, check your states laws in regards. If they hang up, somethings rotten in Denmark as they say. Keep in mind that scammers do spoof numbers and also make illegitimate claims..
