I called the number as shown on my cell ID. The following (paraphrased) is from their voice message system, "This is the MSR Group and we conduct national surveys to aid in development of products or service. Sometimes a survey is for political issues. If our number is shown on your caller ID it is because your number was chosen at random."
I wouldn't say this company is spam. If I wasn't other busy when they called I would probably take part in their survey. Like it or not, this has become the way data is gathered. In the case of a political survey, yeah, I want my voice to be heard.
