I received a call at lunchtime and they said a warrant had been issued for my arrest. That they had done a random audit and I owed 2,483 (IDC #1928) but if i went to Best buy and got a prepaid card today for minimum payment of $1,500 -while I was on the phone with Agent James Matthews, they would not send it to the Federal Court and I could pay off balance later. I could also go to my tax preparation guy with this proof of $1,500 penalty and make him pay me back for his 'miscalculations'. This Matthews also gave me what he said was his private line (202 239-7175) but that I couldn't call him. He had already advised that if I didn't make this payment today, they could seize my bank account, take my properly and arrest me.
