This number calls two to three times a day. I haven't picked up the phone because I felt if they were legitimate they would leave a message. The caller ID says Child Dream Net........Crazy scam artist
Finally had some time to find out who was calling from this number. The caller ID shows Child Dream Net but previous calls have shown Childrens Dream and C Dream. The caller asked for me by name. To throw them off I said they had the wrong number. The voice said that she might have the wrong number but the right person. She started her speech about why she was calling. I tried to break in but she didn't hesitate when I spoke. The conclusion was that this was a computer robo call and it wouldn't allow you to break in during Ms. Computers speech. After spewing all her garbage she came up with suggestions on the amount I should donate. Each time I said "No" Ms. computer would come up with a lower amount that I should donate. Eventually they gave up. Ms Computer ended the call with saying that they were a paid solicitor and gave the name and address information for the solicitor and the charity. Now that they have been allowed to spew their message and didn't get a donation, I wonder if they will stop calling daily. Probably not but one can hope.
