Called my cell. Claimed to be from Pontiac (they don't even make 'em any more) trying to sell me some kind of collision coverage. She had the wrong name, and the phone number would have never been associated with any car I have ever owned. An obvious scam.
Called to offer me extended warranty, gave me details then wanted my account number, I declined obviously and guy got little disgruntled and said we will send u an email so it's safe.
Called today on my cell while I was at work. Claimed to be the underwriting company that underwrote the warranty on my car..told me I only had 8% coverage. When I asked for his name he kept saying "I represent the company that underwrites your warranty" - Sorry.. that's not a name. .. I asked once again, what is your full name and what is the name, address and the phone number of this company that you represent and that I would be calling the dealership to discuss my warranty... the phone went dead.
called twice trying to get my personal information....claims to be "offering you an extended warranty". I told them twice in two days that I am not interested. Take me off your list. But they still called back again today....a scammer.
