I immediately knew it was a scam when the ID said Omaha Firefighters and the pitch was for credit relief. I pressed "1" to find out who they were. A "Victor" with a non-American accent (couldn't quite id the accent, not Indian, Pakistani, European, Russian or Hispanic) took the call. You could hear the call center and other scammers making pitches in the background. I asked who he worked for, he said "Card Services". I asked again, saying I wanted the name of the company or bank they worked for, and he replied again "Card Services".
At this point, I stopped playing my game. I instructed him to remove my name from their call list because I knew he was not legitimate and I get these calls all the time. His reply, "F@#$ off you motherf@#$%^&". Then he hung up.
