They used to call from an out of state number. And now they're using the tactic of buying local numbers. They make it appear as if they're calling from Google. They are not.
once I press 1 and talk a human, I ask if they're officially from Google. the telemarketer side steps my question and rudely hangs up. Each and every time they hang up.
Someone from this number keeps calling to promote my business website and list in the phone book. They say they promise that my business will show on the first page of Google searches as well as other search engines for $99.00 per month special, usually $399.00 month! LOL my business is located in Texas so not sure what they think they can do for us. They also offered to create a web page?? I already have one. Makes ya think that they have no clue about my business or anything else.

There are ethical businesses and not so ethical businesses. this one falls into the latter category - it's not Google.if you ask if they're Google - they hang up. if you ask what the name of the company is they won't say -- don't give them the time of day. Tell them to F.O. I am considering filing a complaint with the Nebraska Public Service Commission if they call one more time. I opt out - they continue to call every few weeks or so. They are RUDE AND WASYE MY PRECIOUS TIME. used to call from a 1 800 number. Then they got keen and started buying local numbers in different zip codes
