We've been getting these calls for about 2 weeks since 16 Dec 2009. We used to just ignore as we don't know anyone from area code 402. Finally answered last night but nobody responded. We haven't attempted to call back as we don't want these idiots to know any more phone numbers than they already have. We too would like to find a way to have calls from this number automatically blocked. Think its time to call my telephone service provider. Hope someone can find this perpetrator and put a stop to these pranks.
I've been called twice today (Saturday). I speak and it hangs up. I think it's a dial-bot building a database of working numbers and times to reach a live person instead of a machine. I should be checking my call ID and let it talk to my machine...
Hmm... This seems to have started for everybody all within the past couple of days. I've gotten numerous calls from them - most have been missed calls with no voicemail. Once I picked up, they asked for me (used my full name) I confirmed my identity and they hung up. Area code says from Lincoln, NE.
