Same bs as everyone else. Caledonia me claiming I owed them over a thousand dollars for a payday loan I supposedly took out in 2012. Started giving me all sorts of old information asking me to confirm that I work here or have an account there. I said honey that information hasnt bee valid in years so either someone has committed identity fraud or you're attempting to. Asked me to dispute the charges or call another number to set up payment arrangements. I told them I dispute the charges and if you're going to put out a warrant for my arrest by all means come and get me. I called the credit bureau and the ftc and put a fraud alert on my name so if they try anything I'll know. Don't have time for this ignorance
Same person calling about "You are hereby notified.....or your attained lawyer....." same person & message left as from 402-454-7286 / 402-817-7833 / 402-817-7961
I received a call from this number and they said I owed money from 2011 but they couldnt provide me the name of the institution or the amount owed. They told me that I should settle it on the phone before it goes into court. I laughed and said that if I owed someone, they would contact me before a third party would. They responded that I should 'govern myself accordingly'. My response was, " I just did". click!.... So watch out for this scammer. I immidiately googled the number and now I'm here.
Called them back from my land line. "This is John Steel." Who do you work for John. "Give me the number we called and I can pull up the acct."
John that would be pretty stupid of me to give you my phone number not knowing who you are.

Scumbag scammers.
When I got home from work last night there was a voice message on my phone to call the above number. I called and this woman said she was calling because of a $500.00 dollar loan I supposedly received from Lending Direct back on 2/17/12. They accused me of fraud saying that when they went to deduct the money from my account it came back NSF. She also said Lending Direct tried calling me and also sent me emails and something in the mail which I told her was not true. She went on and on about a 90 Day Investigation etc By then I was very angry. I was asking her questions and she said to let her finish speaking then I could ask whatever I wanted to. I asked her what her name was and she said Tina Black, you know just like the color. She then said she needed to speak with her Attorney and put me on hold for about 5 minutes. When she came back she said I needed to call her back before end of day today 6/24/15 and if I didn't I would pay the consequences.
