Exact same thing for me. I have some of the same list of numbers in my phone as well. Today 402-817-7880 said they were some sort of pre-trial intervention service and they had a case in their office with my name on it and to press a number to be connected with an investigator.
I am so sick of this nearly every day. Is there ***any*** way to stop them?
It's very interesting that you say they called you twice today. They called me twice today as well, and in all the time I've been getting calls from these scammers, I don't think they've ever called more than once from the same number. Makes me wonder if they had issues with their system and duplicated some calls.
They call and tell me they have a case against me, but cannot produce any evidence. They call from different numbers and he mail me all the time. They are low lifes, trying to scam people out of their money. Hate these people.
They've been calling my cell for weeks now. Always different numbers and usually from the 402 area code, although yesterday I got one from Ohio. I've blocked nearly every number they've called from but they keep calling with the same old "fraud division" nonsense. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm usually at work when I get these calls I'd put them on with my 5 year old and let her play the "Why?" game with them for a few hours.
