They had my name and last four of ssn..they said I used fraud on a loan from two years ago.. Even had which bank I used. I asked for paperwork to be sent so I could forward them to my attorney but of course they said they couldn't send the information. I haven't taken any loans to the best of my knowledge. It is getting pretty annoying though.. They need to stop. Im assuming of this was real they'd have to show some kind of proof, not just over the phone words.
They have been calling for weeks, leaving a message claiming to need me or my attorney to call them, sometimes saying it's about a fraud claim, and saying they will give a claim number when we call back. It's a scam. They never do identify themselves by any company name. After ignoring these calls for weeks, their message this morning was that this is "their final call." I hope that's true.
Same thing here, it's a joke, i been asking them to send me any and all documents concenrning this matter to my home address and i'll have an attorney look it over.. Telling me i had 13 counts of wire fraud and this and that.. I think its from an old pay day loan that they were taking money from my bank account for weeks after i paid over like 900 on a 300 dollar loan... And they have the balls to try and get more... THe payday loan was illegal too, i live in NJ and they are not allowed to happen... Anyways, hoping it was my last call as well..
Yeah yeah me too but has been going on for years now..I too got the final call message yesterday..but..they were also using 402-817-7882 as well as calls coming from all over the US so final call could just mean from that number only lol.I will say though the women that is calling doesn't sound as forceful and rude as she did a couple months ago lol maybe she isn't making the money she thought she would make trying to scam people..poor baby..it's still a shame that some do believe these callers threats and give them their hard earned money .
