The call came in as Gallup Poll.  We did not answer - no message was left.  Now days, it's dangerous to answer ANY unfamiliar call.
With the technology available to scammers today, the criminals can spoof ANY telephone number or ANY CID.  I have had scammers call our home using my OWN telephone number as the CID!!!
Just tonight on the national news, there was an article stating to NEVER answer these unknown calls - duh!
The scam goes like this, the criminal scammer will ask if you "can hear me" and when you respond "yes," the criminals records you voice in the affirmative.  Later you receive an invoice or an unwanted charge on your CC and you will have to pay it.
While this may indeed be Gallup Poll calling we simply will not take that chance.  Have now blocked their future calls.
Be smart and remember what your mother taught you - don't talk to strangers!
