Got this call today. Called back. Free trade publication renewal is what it claims to be. Press 1 if you do not wish to receive your trade specific publication or press 2 if you want. Pressed 2 - received a fast busy signal.
The phone was silent for several seconds, and then a lady came on (who was obviously in a very loud room - I could barely hear her over the noise) saying she was asking about my Accounting Today subscription, and wanted to confirm my company, title, address, and phone number. Not sure whether it was legitimate or not. Seemed sketchy to me.
