I got a text from this number, and they have my address??? I figured the typical response is to text stop so they leave you alone. Lets see of that works.
What it will do is confirm that they have a live phone number with someone that will read their texts. Most likely the next text will contain a link that will install malware on your phone. Always simply forward unwanted texts to 7726 so that your carrier will block them. If 7726 does not work, then contact your carrier and ask what you should do (I understand that ATT will not accept 7726 but that they have a different protocol in place).
