Got a call from this number and "ignored" it. Called it back after reading the above posts because I have NO student loans. Some mush mouth answered, couldn't understand a word she said. I told her I missed a call from that number and she said "Hold on on second." Put me on hold with some very loud music for about 2 or 3 minutes till I hung up.
I got a call from a guy saying they were sending my student loans to wage garnishment. The guy was very rude and wouldn't let me speak. When I tried to explain to him that I had set up payments the week before he told me I "need to stop lying and pay up on my debts." I didn't catch his name or the name of the company he was calling from the first time so I called the number back and it went straight to voicemail saying they were G A Jacksonville. I called the Department of Education, who I know I did set up the payments with, and they told me my loans had not been sent to collections and that i shouldn't give them any info.
A very nasty man about student loans. I was out of school for a couple of years with PTSD after a double murder in my family. The place that had my loans knew about it and messed up and sent them to collections. This moron somehow ended up with them. He calls and acts very threatening and won't listen to anything you say. I am back in classes and doing well and the company that had my loans admits they screwed up and are in the process of buying them back, but this fool still calls every day. I was told to just ignore him.
