they called me as a radio survey. it was strange to say the least and it shows up as a cell #. I ordered an info report on the number, but I will bet it won't come back with anything. I tried to call back and got a busy signal.
My home just received a call from this phone number (on Jan 3, 2010) at approx 7:30pm EST... The individual attempted to gain my personal information, INCLUDING my address and times I was and was not at home.
They initiated the call by saying they were conducting a "survey" on what raido stations I listened to. After asking me to verify my address (which they already had)... they asked my travel times... Now, as a former police officer I can tell you why I immediately terminated this call.
This call could have been a target to see when I was home and was not at home... Why? ... to rob my home? Who knows.... Bottom line is.... don't EVER give out this type of personal info to anyone for any reason.... AND stay in control of the conversation. If anyone ever trys to intimidate you into giving them this information, simply hang up the phone on them.
