Called 8:00 PM this evening. Said was a Nebraska political call. Press 1 if certain name press 2
if not. I pressed the # key about a dozen times and hung up.
This number has called six times in the last 24 hours. Recorded message says it is a survey about issues facing Nebraska and references the governor's race. I can't understand the name of the company that is supposedly behind this - Optimist or Optimus? It's a VOIP number, though.
They called about five times yesterday afternoon, and did not leave a message each time they called! I finally took the number and put a block on it, and interestingly enough, they called again a few minutes ago, but it only rang once, because my phone system tells the caller that "we do not accept calls from that number." I worked for a survey company several years ago, and we were trained NOT to leave a message if no one answered and the call goes to voice mail. You would think their system would get the hint when there is no response, but apparently not. Bet thing to do is block the number!
