Yeah, we are now getting these phone calls from this number, the man identified himself as "Bill Thompson" and he hangs up when I tell him that my wife is not home - odd. I also tried the website listed above (www.foplodge1.com) and it is all in Greek - funny that an Omaha area police lodge would have their website in a foreign language don't you think? Honestly, I think that this is a scam...
It is not a fraud, however, 60 some of what you donate actually goes to the youth programs ........ if that. They do sell tickets to an annual benefit show and it is a legit show. It's non-profit, tax deductible. It's legit. BUT ... as a case manager at community corrections may tell you - all they do is hire inmates that are still in prison doing prison terms.
These [***] have been barraging with calls every day. They never say anything though so essentially all I'm getting is office noise like a call center. Thank god they didn't block they're number. Big thanks to Cox for blocking these people from calling.
