I received a text saying they will buy my item from craigslist ad. This is what their text said:
" I will instruct my assistant to prepare and mail your payment which I'm sure you will get in about 4 -5 business days. I'll add $30. extra for the delay I'll pay by money order. Pls send me your info to mail your payment in full, name, mailing address) I will also make arrangement for pick-up which will be after you must have received and cashed the payment."
Of course I did not fall for their scam. I first looked up the phone number as I do all text I receive from ads on craigslist. I found this site and glad I read about this scam. I hope no one falls for this scam!!!!
got a text from this IDIOT responding to a craigslist ad for merchandise -telling me that they will buy my item and get someone to send me a check and even send me an ADDITIONAL $30.00 for my troubles and once the check CLEARS (HA!HA!HA!) then they will send someone to pick up mercandise
