Received a call from a man identifying himself as "Ben Cassera" from "Worker's Compensation of North Carolina" and that he needed to know the present employees, etc. of our company. While on the phone with him, I noted through a quick internet search, that the 402 area code is in Nebraska and took his bogus message before hanging up. Aside form the fact that Worker's Comp. generally only communicates via mail or through one's accountants, they certainly would not outsource to someone in Nebraska. I called the real Worker's Comp. office in Raleigh, NC and gave them this number and they said it was probably some sort of marketing ploy.
