Who called from 4029731440

Do Not Call Registry and other calling laws only apply to businesses operating in the U.S. Many of these calls and scams are not from U.S. companies and are not generated within the U.S. It's frustrating because US continues to make it harder for legitimate companies in the U.S. to conduct business based on bad business practices of those not within their jurisdiction

Got a call from this number earlier this a.m. -- didn't answer (don't know anyone in Omaha).  Checked here (of course) and blocked it.

Once in a great while, if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll answer one of these.  I don't say "hello";  I just say in a hoarse whisper:

"Yeah, hi.  It's done, but it was really messy and there's blood all over the place."

9 times out of 10, it's an automated robocall, but once in awhile, it's a real person.  I love those times ... ;-)

Called, no message left, added to call blocker.

I get calls with different numbers offering the same bogus offer of a $250K business loan.

My DNC registration is active and these tools keep calling anyway.
