i always get calls from this people and i always answered, but i end up hanging up the phone. today they called me again but i decided to hear what this guy had to say, he was telling me about this card for 120 worth of gas something like that and that the card was free for me to use even if i didnt want the package and that the free gas gift card was a way to say thank u to me. then i got transferred to another guy and this guy told me that i was gonna get charged 2 dollars and something fro shipping and handling, then i asked him ,i have to pay to get this? and he said yes but just for the shipping. then i told him that i didnt want to partipate and he said well u have to call this number and cancel i said i dont have to call any number beacause i never signed up for people like u to be calling me, and that if they charged my card for anything i was going to go to my bank and dispute the charge simple as that, then he said something and hung up the phone.
I've received 3 calls on my cell from this mumber today, all within the last 5 hours. I haven't picked up and no voicemail left. This is a very strange number--only a 9 digit vs 10 digit number. Anyone else getting calls from this number? I assume it's most likely a scam as I've also received calls from (402) 982-0881. Annoying. I registered my cell number with the do not call website. Getting tired of these calls...
I got about 5 calls today from this number. I finally answered the last one and it was from a company called Vista Services telling me they had the last 4 digits of my credit card and would be sending me free gas cards. When I asked more questions and told them not to send me anything the caller got very rude and wouldn't answer any of my questions about the company. He then hung up on me. I too thought it was strange that it was a 9 digit number.
I received some free gas cards from Chase recently (Shell cards) ... this was from the Chase rewards credit card points from cards I've had for years.
This number called my cell couple days ago, saying they were a marketing partner of a company I've dealt with, but wouldn't tell me who. When they wouldn't answer my questions, I hung up. As others said, only nine digits showed on me cell from this call.
They have called me three times today, and I have not answered nor got a voxmail from them.
Hope this helps someone ... I would say DO NOT talk to them!
