I just got a call on my home phone 4 mins ago from this number. No messages left on an answering machine.
I don't want to unplug the phone to eliminate all for the sake of eliminating unwanted calls, but caller ID box will keep a record of calls temporarily. Also, I wish they had invented the Validation Code for all phones or Caller ID box, so they could only allow it to ring or not, without turning off the ringer for all calls.
I think ESTA SOL is a spoofed name, which means any copy cat can enter this ID into their IP (Internet Protocal) phones or FAX machine. With technology explosion and advancement in service and abuse, some people were bombarded with numerous unwanted phone calls. I thought telemarketers had exploited this situation to the max, and everyone as a consumer has to find a solution to this type of exploitation.
Do Not Call List was exploited by telemarketers already, I believe, and so it does not work with my case.
dont know wh my it was my ringer was off on my home phone they did not call my cell phone so they do not know who i am or they would know my cell phone number.also no message was left so i have no idea who it is.on the caller i.d all it says is the number then the letters are HLA
This number called my phonemail number at work, which I haven't used in years (I get a report about it whenever someone leaves a message). Must be either a wrong number or a random dialer.
It's some kind of telemarketer. I called the number back, and was given a menu option to choose if I wanted to opt out of future calls for their promotion.

It's a number that will call you on a sporadic basis here and there and when you pick up it's a pre-recorded message claiming they have an important message for you and it's sponsored by "(didn't catch the exact name) Surveys". I didn't care to listen to it past that and have only picked up on it once. It seems other friends I have with AT&T cell phones have also gotten calls from the same number - coincidence or not.
