All of the other numbers, even the ones listed with the FTC, have been discontinued so these guys know what the problem and they are part of it.
automated call, calling about my credit account. did not say who they were, but my visa, mastercard, discover, and american express accounts. seemed shady, since i don't have american express or mastercard.
automated call, calling about my credit account. I pressed 1 to speak to a rep, who identified himself as Bill Jones. I asked for the name of his superior, who he said was Timothy Johnson. He identified the company as Account Services of San Francisco, CA, even though this area code is from Nebraska. When I asked for a land line to contact him at, he provided a bogus number (I called and it was a private cell phone in the Akron (my) OH area. When I asked for a physical address he said I was not yet qualified to receive that information. When I informed him I would be reporting them to the BBB for an unsolicited sales call, and asked him to remove my number from their calling list, he said he could not, that it could only be done by pressing 2, and promptly hung up on me.
Received a call at my work (a police department) from this number. Shows to be from Hospitality Inc. I'm rather embarassed to say that I never listen to these types of messages. First time from this number though. Just a recording, and honestly, I don't have time for recordings on this particular phone...
