Who called from 4040408888

Called me too...I answered hello, but when no rapid response, I quickly hung up

I am getting daily calls from this number to my land line.  There is never anyone there and no one ever speaks.  What is going on?

Call at 5:24PM. I did not answer and no message was left. I've blocked the number.

Call saying from Microsoft and says my computer has been reporting error messages and he wants to access it remotely.

This is one of those "your computer is sending out a virus" calls.  This is the second "virus call" I have gotten this week but the other was from a different number.
