Called and asked for my deceased father and I told her my name and said it was the wrong number and she said her name was Renee baker and that she was looking for 'either one of you' and call failed. Sort of irked by the whole thing, blocking the number. Have had other 404 alt numbers call and haven't left messages.
Obviously just harvesting valid numbers (those that ring, answer, or have active voice mail) to sell to other spammers/scammers/marketeers.
I live in the area this area code is specific to, so I tried to call it back, since it called my work cell-phone. When I dialed, I got a message saying "this survey has ended", which is obviously just a ruse to throw you off the scent and (they hope) keep you from filing an FCC complaint.
asked for head of household, told them he was taking a dump. lol. lots of noise in the background and not knowing who you just called is enough for me.
