I just got a robodialed call from your campaign
This is not the way to get me to look favorably upon your candidacy.
Rather, it says that you are among the politicians who regard themselves above the laws that apply to all the rest of us.
I realize that political calls are exempt from the do-not-call rules. However, the politicians who wrote those rules chose to set themselves above the laws for everyone else.
I am on the Do Not Call lists. You don't need to join those politicians in calling me despite my clearly expressed preferences.
The call was particularly offensive because it was a recorded message, and even more offensively caller id showed only "Georgia".
These actions do not show the kind of character I look for in a candidate for President.
It's a robo-call from Newt "The Serial Adulterer" Gingrich. I stayed on the line and talked to one of his minions. I told him that the speech was very funny, and that Newt should be a stand-up comedian. I told him that I especially liked the part where he said that, while he was Speaker of The House, he "worked in a bipartisan manner" with Demorats in Congress to get things done. Is he kidding?!? Newt practically invented the attack-and-insult-the-oposition method that is so widely used in todays polotics. I asked him "you mean how he used to stand on the House floor and hurl baseless accusations at Democrats?" By the way, when Newt was recording these little rants, he was the only one present in the chamber! He would look around the empty room and challenge Democrats to defend themselves against his outlandish accusations! (but the camara stayed on him, so the viewer couldn't see that there was no one there to defend themselves!) I also asked "and what about how he was leading the charge to impeach Clinton for having an affair, while at the same time, he was having an affair one of staffers?" And, I told him, the only reason that Newt isn't "a career politician" is because he was ran out of Washington on ethics charges and had to pay $300,000 in fines! I finished by telling him that Newt Gingrich is a hypocrite, an aduterer, and a liar! And he is not fit to hold any public office, let alone President of these great United States!!
Enough is enough, I have already followed the prompt several times to stop them from calling me and they're still calling. I don't care what politician it is, don't call my home number. If we're going to vote for you it will be by our choice. You calling us at ungodly hours is not helping your campaign. And what makes it more frustrating is that only a handful people know this number because we only just moved into this house.
