Atlanta Ballet. Went to the nutcracker once in 2009 and here we are in 2013 and they still are calling for donations!! It was a great show but the phone calls make me never want to go again. I already donated once just to get them to quit and they still called!
The Atlanta Ballet and the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra have been struggling financially for many years. They are relentless in seeking support through any means from anyone who has ever attended an event at symphony hall. They will continue to call on the phone regardless of whether you donate, purchase tickets, or decline.
The ASO is quite good and deserves any support. We just haven't been able to go or give them any money in a couple of years. We still get the phone calls. This is the first call we've gotten from the ballet. We don't answer; they don't leave a message.
