Who called from 4042542117

This person called supposedly from a law firm leaving a message saying my husband was being investigated for check fraud!! We live in PA and have no idea who this person is or what they are talking about!! Is this some sort of scam????

My wife also received a call from this number. The person was saying that I was being investigated for check fraud. We are in VA. We also have no idea whats going on. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I got a msg that there might be fraud with use of my social security number. They want a verbal statement today. I refuse to give in to this scam.
