Man called and asked for the homeowner. Said he wasn't selling anything but wanted to know if I had a security system. Seems like a strange call. The caller ID showed the number belonged to Scott String. I called the police and the attorney general's office to report the matter. They said they had already had numerous complaints.
Did some research on First Defense Security? Do not use these people. check out https://plus.google.com/102684284765508537282/about?hl=en and http://www.ripoffreport.com/emergency-services/1st-defense-security/first-defense-security-1st-d-28jfd.htm
Apparently they have been scamming people for years.
the "Scott String" on caller id called and ask for me. When I said who's calling they said first security. I ask them can I take a message and they would not respond or reply. wanted to speak to the home owner and when I replied they are not available they said they are just returning the call (total lie). be careful sounds like a scammer to me
They called me tonight. The woman addressed me by my first name and said she was calling from First Defense Security. I smelled a telemarketer, so I said "I'm not interested," and hung up. This number is going on my "Do Not Answer" list.
