Rec'd calls from CRC a few years ago, demanding money for an account long off my record. I contacted an attorney who did help me with this. He also told me this company does things like this all the time. And they have no legal standing whatsoever. Today, I received another call from the same company. My attorney suggested I file suit and perhaps collect some money from them as there are other people filing suit against that company as well. I didn't back then, but if they continue harassment, I may just have to file the suit to get them to stop.
