I got a call on my house phone from this number and since I don't give out my house phone I knew it couldn't be a debt collector calling for anything legit. I owe nothing and all accounts I do have are under my cell never my home number which is also through my cell carrier. So I picked up and asked where he's calling from and he tells me nationwide debt. I look up nationwide debt and see this.... Seems shady so caller be aware. The link below talks about a company intensifying themselves as nationwide debt collection and then demanding money into accounts and even having their number show up as 911 on your caller ID. You shouldn't ever agree to anything via phone. Make them send you a letter and never give your address. If they truly have a bad debt they're collecting on they'd have been given your address. Make them prove the debt is yours by requesting the original loan terms with your signature.
