someone from this number saying that i have 3 charges on me for defrauding a financial institution. they had all the correct info oh and they called me private first then called from another number that showed up. now my concerned is that why this company called me from georgia and the payment was taken by another company in n. carolina but never sent me a receipt for the payment to my email. now this same account i had got scammed the first time and my bill wasnt payed off. when i asked about that because that person company had the same address same building same town.
I dont remember the call law firm company name but the payment went to Knoxe n Associate #888-509-7358.

If you mean Knox and Associates they are a debt scamming operation. You did not deal with any valid law firm. Knox and Associates are not a law firm so far as I can find. Knox has a long history of debt scamming on 800notes, If you had charges against you, they would be handled by local law enforcement. A scummy debt scamming operation would have no knowledge of it.
Again: Charges of defrauding a financial institution would be criminal in nature and would be handled by the local police and public prosecutors. You would be aware of it, if it was a valid charge, and you would NOT hear about it from a scummy debt collector.
If you paid these people then you should go back to the bank and have the transaction reversed for frauid, assuming you used some sort of card.
Never pay money to anyone you do not know. Never pay any money to anyone in the absence of a debt validation letter than must be sent to you by US mail. E mail no good.
If you know the address you sent the payment too, please post it here. Again, do not pay anything to theses people or anyone who cold-calls you ought of the blue and tries to tell you that there are criminal charges against you but that the whole thing will go away if you pay these scammers some money.
Bottom line is : You've been scammed. And you may be scammed again unless you take precautions as to who you pay money too. Never wire money to someone you do not know!
