Do you have family or a local senior support service? Please ask someone to help you install a call blocking device. They cost around $40. Yes, in a perfect world you wouldn't have to do this, but then we wouldn't have to lock windows or doors either. They are easy to use, but ensure you get one that blocks area codes as well as individual numbers.
Bill Collector. Anytime you're getting calls from these weird area codes it's a bill collector. I received a letter regarding some random bill from 6years ago that I never knew about; then all of a sudden this (404) 341-9748 starts calling me even on the weekends. Another number is (803) 447-1904 South Carolina. I add them all to my reject list as they come in. I know which States my distant relatives are located and besides they know to leave a message for me to return their call if they can't reach me after calling me from a number other than their own.
Thank you so much. It all makes sense now. They contact me from a different number each time- twice a day sometimes; even on the weekends. So I send every last number to my block/ reject list. I already spoke to them and explained that I'm unemployed after a lay-off. I'm already on Wage garnishment and put on Tax Offset to seize all my income-tax until after I make 5 approved scheduled on time payments [to get off Wage Garnishment] and 9 scheduled payments [first 5 included] to be removed from Tax Offset and Default status (total of 10mos. rehabilitation). I already explained my situation and informed them that they will be contacted again once I'm working to set up those payments and clear this whole mess.
*So until I'm employed what's the point of even speaking to them*
