Received robo-call and the woman who finally picked up identified herself as Jxxxxxxr from Consumer Services. She said that they are contacting people whose mortgage rate is over 5% to see if they are interested in refinancing. I told her that rate was significantly more than my present rate then asked how she got my number. She then hung up on me. When I, out of curiosity, called the number back I received a disconnected recoding.
WARNING--BEWARE!! These callers are B I G credit card criminals, known as the card service scammers! Under NO circumstances, give these lowlifes your credit card number, or you will regret it forever!
This number has called me several times over several days and when you call back it is a disconnected number. I have received calls just like this from 6 other numbers preportedly from different states. Each time I say I'm notinterested on va refi a new number calls. Should Be some way for cell phone companies to trap these calls and prosecute.
