Called saying I owed 700$ for a payday loan in Texas from 5 years ago, and if I didnt pay 1100$ now they would have me arrested for Check Fraud. When I told him I never lived in Texas, he said it was irrelevant. I told him I never took out a payday loan, he said I was lying. When I told him it was illegal for him to threaten arrest when he isnt a cop, and it is illegal to threaten arrest for a civil debt under the federal FDCPA, he told me to "f*king pay or else". I told him I was reporting him to my State Attorney General and the FTC, he told me to go ahead, and he'll issue a warrant.
