Chiropractors? Help me out here, because I'm curious about all this. Are they those cheesy guys who follow a system cooked up on a kitchen table by a founder who was some sort of third rate refrigerator repairman? Is that the history of all this, or am I mistaken? Aren't they kind of like a cult?
Are they the ones with the roadside signs claiming to cure whatever illness you may have by dancing around on your back? Allergies, kids having trouble with homework, people with diabetes, you name it? And do I remember that there have been reports that some of their "manipulations" are not only ineffective, but downright dangerous?
Is that the sort of anything for a buck operator we are talking about here?
I'm just asking, because I don't know. And I may never find out, because I have more sense than to place my wallet and my health in the hands of people who appear to have such a sketchy basis for what they promote. Of course, I may just be confused and misinformed. So if anyone can shed any light on my questions, I'd really like to know more.
