The future of phone scams and telemarketing.
Just answered this call from 'Customer Service'.
At first it sounded like a polite gentleman talking about 'unsecured debt' (I have no debt).
However, when I gave a few unexpected answers and pauses, it became clear that this was an interactive computer voice. Guess the scammers can't afford to pay real people anymore. It gave up before I found out what the pitch/scam was.
This bodes ill for the future - synthetic computer robo-callers with nobody to insult on the other end of the line.
