I got 2 calls from 404-400-1216 and it had an automated voice that recited my first name like this:
IS BRUCE THERE
and that is all it said, I did not say anything back, then it disconnected and called back within 2 minutes and it did the same thing..
My caller ID only showed a capitol I as the caller, along with the number, I tried to do a search with the number and it said not complaints made yet for this number.. then I called the number with my VOIP skype account and a recordking came on and the message was played soo fast you can't understand what is said..
then I called after 6 PM and it would not even ring the number, it was like it could not find that number to call but nothing was heard, and I stayed on my skype phone for 5 minutes and it was total silence, no ringing or no recording or anything, I never experienced anything like that...
So apparently this is a new phone SCAM. not sure what would have taken place if I started to speak when the automated voice recording recited my name....
