Robo call. Starts out "Can you hear me OK?" DO NOT REPLY. Then it goes on: "You are preselected to receive" a super vacation package valued at over $2,400.00 to Florida. "All you can eat & drink"; all accomations, expenses, etc. etc, etc. "Just a few questions that need verification: our records show you are at least over 28 years old and have a current credit or debit card", etc. etc. etc. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! DON'T BE STUPID - BLOCK THIS NUMBER.
I was expecting a business call so picked it up, even though I didn't recognize the number. It was a male voice, which said "This is Josh - can you hear me?" After I replied, "Yes - what are you trying to sell me?", he launched into "You have been selected...", and immediately I disconnected, as I realized that it captured my "yes". I suspect that it was a robo-call made to sound natural.
I just received this call on my cell phone. Since I didn't recognize the number I didn't answer. I immediately called the number from my home phone. A robot voice said, "Thank you for calling. The survey for which you have been called is now closed. To remove this number from our list dial nine." So I will block this number from my cell phone.
