Low? They are taking it all, if they are scammers! I don't even trust letterhead to be always legitimate orgn correspondence. You can print up anything on a computer. I don't even contribute to any charity, by mail, esp w a P.O. Box, until I ck address out w Better Business Bureau, or know it's from one I've been donating to for yrs!
Sorry, but I don't trust anyone solicitating now days, so I ck them out and BBB will tell u the % going to the cause & what they consider acceptable, which like u said is about 65%, which I think is really too low. 45% going into fund raising/overhead is a lot. In fact when I worked for the BBB doing Public Relations work, the acceptable was a tad higher!

I just got a call from this number, it was a woman asking for someone named Alona. I told her 'there is nobody named alona here, you have been calling me for the past few months, please stop texting and calling me.'
this has been going on for a few months now, it started out of nowhere...
Fake "Fund Raising Center" when you call back there's only 2 options on the menu. #1 Not interested in donating and #2 End this call. Hey how about option #3? which should be PUT THESE [***] IN PRISON
Breast Cancer Solicitation? Heck no! They call my home ph weekly, w different nrs, and just today called my cell.
I've picked up ph and asked them not to call anymore, that I do not respond to any telephone solicitations & remove me from their calling list.
If they were really a legitimate breast cancer orgn, they would do so. I think they are real scammers, using the breast cancer name to try to get us to send money or as someone else said, trying to get a "yes" response from you recorded to use in a scam of some kind. Some ask, "Can u hear me".
If u want to tespond, say, "yes I can hear you, remove me from your calling list" & don't answer again and block, if u can! Definitely not a/the real Breast Cancer Orgn!!
