Have received phone calls from this number over the past several days. The caller leaves no message. The Caller ID identifies the caller as LTC Global, Inc. According to an Internet search, this company is a sales and marketing leader in the long term health insurance industry. . . . .Apparently, being on the government's Do Not Call List is worthless to stop these calls.

Do Not Call list may not stop them from calling, but if they do not honor it and/or your request to not be called, they CAN be fined up to $16,000 PER OFFENSE. That is, SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR EVERY SINGLE CALL MADE TO YOUR NUMBER AFTER THAT REQUEST IS MADE. If you inform them of this when they call again, it may have some effect, but if not, REPORT THEM. Document each time they call and keep a log if necessary (if you have a voip service, you can probably access that info via your provider under received calls which makes it easy to document all at once.
I have found that money talks when nothing else does. I used to get calls for over two years from the same recorded message despite verbal and written requests, but the thing that finally stopped the damn ringing was pointing out the potential fine to that last person I talked to, when I also pointed out that I had a record of at least 50 calls made since my first request to be removed. That did it immediately.
I have also found that reporting another stubborn company that would not honor my requests seems to have had some effect where my conversations were having none. Take action that speaks their language - if calling you is going to cost them much more than it could possibly yield from profiting from that call, it WILL stop. It is just annoying that we have to go through the effort, but its a pretty short web form for the satisfaction of knowing that it will really stick it to them if you actually do have to go through it to get them to quit.
