Credit company looking for the same woman, They said they took the number off their list but I still get calls. Dennis was the person whom I spoke with, he wouldn't tell me the company he worked for than hung up. I called back and he was extremely rude.
My mother-in-law just received a phone call from "Isaac" wanting to get my wife and my information because apparently we have debt that im unaware of, and thank god she didnt give this guy any information just passed his name and number on to my wife... Who the heck is this guy and how did he get my mother-in-laws cell phone number?
Issac Veeris called from the National Credit Systems about collecting a debt. He actually left two voice messages so I decided to call to call back (thinking it might be a wrong number since I didn't have any debt problems). He was very polite and professional and said he was collecting debt from my past apartment complex and said the name of the management company in charge of the apartment. He stated the fees he was collecting was invalid notice fee & termination of lease, now I did not do a formal letter of vacate only signed a letter through the apartment office. He went on saying that the office might of not returned this info to the management company. I stated that I received no letters from my apartment complex about the debt and he gave my new address out saying that this is were they sent the letter, it was pretty freaky, I know it's probably all public record but pretty scary. So after I argued about not getting a letter and demanding the number for the apartment management he said to "google it" and I figured this was some kind of scam. The number he calls from is a local number but in the voice message he wants you to call a 404-419-1473 Atlanta number.
He must of worked for the NCS in the past or just read off what they have on their website, in his voice message he says: "This is an attempt to collect a debt by a debt collector. Any information obtained will be used for this purpose", which is what is listed on the National Credit Systems.
