I could not distinguish the name of the company. This person called me (Alaska Time) at about 0830. A company informed me that I had won 2.4 million dollars. Worried that someone was trying to scam my mom, I returned the call hoping to get more information. To my surprise, someone called me a 9:30 pm Alaska time. 404 is a Georgia area code (used to be anyway) and that means the person was calling me at about 1:30 am Eastern standard time. This strikes me as very odd. In addition, there was no background noise behind the callers voice which wouldn't be the case if this person was working from a public office. If sounded as if the call were made from a private residence.
I worry that this person is targeting the elderly and thought he might be calling my mother. This infuriates me. Thought I would share.
This is a scam phone number. The caller is trying to get the identities of elderly callers along with their bank accounts so they can withdraw the money
