Same things as others... automated voice stating I have a very important legal matter in their office and that I need to contact them to resolve this. Funny no legal matters here. Looks like a fake scam again.
Same message on my cell phone as everyone else regarding a legal matter. Whoever called did not leave a telephone number. BCR Legal Department- Atlanta GA showed on my caller I.d.
this is another scammer. One of the not too clever ones at that! They tried to say I have an old debt with chase bank, they want 628 dollars for a 900$ debt or they will have court paperwork sent. garbage!!!! I have only EVER had 2 accounts with chase, both still open and both with 0$ balances. try again buddy. If our government spent as much time dealing with these obvious criminals instead of, well to be honest I am not really sure what they spend all of my tax money on, but someone should do something, this should not be allowed to happen. I know that if you write checks not in your name or some such then you can go to jail for fraud, what about these people, they change the company name and number and start all over again, pathetic,
well, I called the number back, and the (rude) woman who answered the phone answered it "fraud department how can I help you. I asked what company this was and she said the fraud department. I said ok, well what is the company name... after a long and not helpful conversation I was told that she was with "the state of Georgia" I called the attorney Geerals office in Georgia, and they told me that number does NOT belong to any of their departments, and that the actual fraud department is 404-651-8600. I filed a claim against this company who is posing as a government agency....gotcha dummies! hopefully they catch them, isn't it illegal to pose as a government office?
