Just got the call, from the Indian red dot, not woowoo, Hello John, this is Columbus bank, I simply stated stop calling me idiot and hung up, then he called back and told me to mind my language, I said ok idiot, and blocked the number. And yes they are in Atlanta.
Scam wanting me to load a itune card and then 5 minutes later they would wire 12,000 to western union. I called columbus bank directly to verify it was a scam and sure enough they had nothing to do with it. Thank God I didnt load amy money or gave him any information! He also gave a direct number which is 404 829 4609... don't fall for it!!!
They try it with me, saying they were from the same bank. I had my brother check it out which is a cop, it's a scam. People don't fall for this look it up before giving anyone your money on the phone or online
A guy in a really thick Indian accent called me asking for our top dog. I asked what the call was regarding and he stated he was from Columbus Bank, but I could hear a lot of chatter and laughing in the back in a foreign language. We don't do business with anyone called Columbus bank, so I asked if he knew what it was regarding. He rudely replies that is not drunk or high and knows what he is talking about, so get him someone now. I said you are being rude, to which he retorts that I am being rude by not getting someone for him. I hung up. If you want business, wouldn't you be polite and answer questions? You don't know who talks to who. Doesn't matter because it was clear it was a scam and I googled him while he was on the phone.
