I have been receiving calls from 404-496-6033 for several weeks now. The caller ID shows "Habitat". The phone usually only rings 3x before they hang up, but when it does ring long enough to go to my voice mail they never leave a message.
With the Habitat clue above, 404-496-6033 has to be Habitat for Humanity. They have joined the ranks of charities who reward you for a donation by calling for more.
I called the number back and first the woman replied yes to the question of is this Habitat for Humanity and then changed it to no, it was a private number when I asked to be taken off the call list. I looked online and found several complaints about this number and redialed it and a man answered and insisted it was private. Can there be 2 telephone numbers the same or come through caller ID incorrectly?
