I keep getting phone calls to renew my car warranty. I haven't driven since 1976! Must be one of those bulk call companies that call all numbers in an area and hope the get a sucker.
My son says most of these secondary car warranties are not accepted at the dealership and they make you pay for the repairs and it up to you to collect on the warranty. When you call the number back you can not contact anyone a recording saying the call can't be completed try again later. By the way the caller id read Platino International in Alanta, GA
the area code is in Georgia, addressing a little over 25 cities.
I get the same call, message and response when I attempt to tell them off. I hope they like their long distance bill when they get it in the mail.
Is anyone really that dumb to buy insurance like this?
